The current market trend and scenario in India
This market segment is growing at a “double digit” pace in India with premium residential projects forming the major chunk of the growth. In hotels, the guest room automation solution is still not a priority but for common areas, restaurant and bars it is welcome. KNX being an open protocol, is increasing its acceptence among consultants and getting implemented in projects. In addition, Jung switches available in different designs, colours and materials such as Metal (stainless steel), Glass, DuroPlast, etc. and even 24 Crt Gold or Gold polish, offer interior designers the opportunity to play with aesthetics and provide a complete solution of switches along with automation key pads which give same look and feel to the interiors.
Today, the designers wish to use switches as a part of the interior finishing, unlike in the past, when the tendency was to hide them. Also, when it comes to automation the designers prefer to use switches as well Keypads in the similar finish and material. For instance, flush-mounted LS ZERO model creates a level plane in any type of installation between the surface and the operating element while, adhering to all requirements of a modern electrical installation.
