An Indian-origin architect, Bijoy Jain, unveiled the design of Australia’s largest bamboo structure, ’MPavilion 2016’, which will be used for festival processions in the country. The 12-metre-high tower, designed by the architect in Melbourne city’s Queen Victoria Gardens, will reflect a connection between the ‘earth, sky and the shared gravity’. The structure uses basic elements like bamboo, earth, stone & rope and will take around eight weeks to build.
