Bobby Mukherji & Associates (BMA) has been appointed as the architect and interior design consultant for the development of a private air terminal at the St. Kitts (Caribbean) island’s Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport. The project which is a joint venture between the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis in association with Veling Ltd., one of the largest aircraft leasing companies, is poised to propel high-end tourism in St. Kitts.

This is a first of its kind project in the Caribbean. The overall ambience of the private air terminal is that of an exotic airport lounge, with an amalgamation of Caribbean and South-east Asian architectural design. The interiors are designed with a fusion of Tropical nature and Caribbean culture through wooden floorings, sloping wooden roof, sea grass rugs, lounge furniture made in natural materials (water hyacinth, fibers), decorative and technical lighting in translucent wood veneer and structural design to withstand wind speeds of 163 mph along with installation of hurricane proof doors and windows.
