CREDAI, in line with its commitment towards making real estate sector more citizen centric, has taken up the call of Sugamya Bharat Abhiyaan. This Accessible India Program is a nationwide flagship campaign for achieving universal accessibility for people with disabilities and to create an enabling and barrier free environment, with a focus on three verticals: Built Environment; Public Transportation and Information and Communication Technologies.
The Pledge, signed by Irfan Razack – Chairman, Getamber Anand – President and Jaxay Shah – President Elect of CREDAI, commits its 11,500 members nationally to the guidelines under CREDAI Pledge for Accessible Buildings.
Under this pledge, CREDAI members would incorporate more accessibility features in their projects. The developers are also expected to ensure that all their existing projects are accessible to differently abled individuals and remove any and all hindrances they may face in accessing or residing there.
