“No matter what we do, we give our best. We like to think that people prefer us because we give them the best through ‘Design’, our work reflects this commitment to sustainability and the belief that design is one of the most powerful strategic tools for securing lasting competitive advantage. In keeping with this overall ideology of our Commitment to Excellence and our Quest to not just ‘Do” something but to ‘do something that is worth doing. In short, improving everything that we do, daily. Our USP is customized design solutions coupled with effective time-management skills“, the duo explains the mission of STAPL.
Soyuz after his graduation in 1993 from Rachna Sansad’s Academy of Architecture joined as Project Architect with Sabu Francis & Architects and oversaw the design for the Great Eastern Galleria. He has also worked on the planning and extension of Churchgate Railway station, the Konkan Railway Officers Quarters, Little Flower Church, etc. With ‘Akbar Biviji & Associates’ he had a more rounded training delving into both architecture & interior designing. After having worked with other firms, Soyuz shifted his base to Navi Mumbai and started STAPL in 2001 to do real architecture. The city, then at the nascent stage of creation offered young and dynamic architects with revolutionary ideas to do architecture that mattered and had distinct identity. Kavita, a graduate from L S Raheja School of Architecture joined Soyuz and together they established it as an architectural firm that developers began to notice. Kavita’s focus and drive have been the interior spaces that are created by the frim. Together they create and transform spaces to their fullest potential and provide a dedicated, responsive, customized, technology driven practice.
