BlazeMaster® pipe and fittings from Lubrizol Advanced Materials India are designed specifically for fire sprinkler systems. They are made from a specialty thermoplastic known chemically as post-chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPvC). BlazeMaster® pipe and fittings provide unique advantages in sprinkler installations, including superior hydraulics, ease of joining, increased hanger spacing in comparison to other thermoplastics and ease of assembly. They also are based on a technology with a continuous and proven service history of more than 40 years.
BlazeMaster® CPvC pipe and fittings carry the markings of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc (UL.&.C-UL) and Underwriters’ Laboratories of Canada (ULC), Factory Mutual (FM)*, The Loss Prevention Council (LPC), and the NSF International (NSF) for use with potable water.
The pipe and fittings are certified by NSF International for potable water safety under all water conditions. They eliminate scaling and corrosion giving long lasting performance, even in salt air environments. They have natural immunity to Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion (MIC) and the superior flow characteristics offer better hydraulic design over metal systems. Since they are light weight, no special rigging or equipment is required to move the pipes within the building and the installed costs of a BlazeMaster® system are much lower and more stable than metal systems. The pipes are available in sizes upto 3m in diameter.
