IP500 can help them realize their good intention by offering an open and interoperable platform for wirelessly connecting all the devices. This can actually help in creating in mini Building Management system on the cloud, instead of investing in expensive Building Management systems”
IP500 Alliance, has come up with standards and chip for connecting all the devices in a building wirelessly be it alarms, centralized control of lighting, Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning or security locks of doors to ensure energy saving, convenience and security. This means that now all existing and new buildings do not need complex and expensive wiring to make them smart. The IP500 system would see computer-based wireless communication network controlling all home appliances,
Vinay Agarwal, Managing Director, Regent Lighting Asia Private Limited and IP500 India representative said “Most building owners and businesses shy away from smart lighting technologies due to their high cost and complexity of implementation. The IP500 disruptive technologies will offer solutions in a simple and cost effective way to save energy in real terms.”
