ISS, one of the world’s largest facility services provider recently announced that it would raise the workforce by around 300 people or maybe even more. The recruitment is especially carried out for the cleaning and decontamination, transport, administration and control work.

The extra-large planned outage will be operational on 1 June 2013 and last for six months. However, before that ISS will need about 100 extra people to the regular planned outages of the reactors Oskarshamn Plant 1 and 3.

In light of both the many layoffs that have been in Sweden recently, and the high level of youth unemployment in the county, it feels good to be able to go against the tide and offer so many new jobs. There was great interest, not only from the Oskarshamn area but also from all over the country. Of course, we are also delighted to be entrusted with the responsibility of providing services during the large planned outage.

ISS Facility Services is Sweden and the Nordic region’s largest service company with 12,000 employees in Sweden and 44,000 employees in the Nordic region.
