Magicrete Building Solutions, manufacturer of AAC (Aerated Autoclaved Concrete) blocks inaugurated their third manufacturing plant in Haryana, India. This will be their first facility in Northern India. According to the company, the plant’s close proximity to fast growing cities like Jaipur, Chandigarh and Meerut, gives Magicrete the strategic advantage to cater to all these markets efficiently.
The facility spread across 400,000 sqft has a total manufacturing capacity of four lakh cubic meters of AAC blocks/panels which are a superior substitute to the traditionally used brick and are available at almost the same price. In an exclusive chat with Buildotech, Co-founder & MD, Sourabh Bansal said, “The Company decided to put up a factory in the NCR region mainly to cater to the growing demand in the construction markets in North India. Jhajjar has two power plants and we have easy access to flyash which is an important raw material necessary for making AAC blocks. In addition, the fact that as more than 15% of India’s urban residential construction is going on in the NCR region and almost 50% of India’s total construction is taking place in Northern India makes it the biggest construction market of the country. “
