With India ranking second in global ceramic tiles production (around 12.9% of global output) and providing employment to 550,000 people, the “Vibrant Ceramics Expo and Summit, 2017 from November 16-19, at Gandhinagar, Gujarat is expected to bring in much bigger number of participants and delegates from around the world. Morbi Ceramics Associations, representing the second largest ceramic cluster in the world, is organising the four-day event ensuring that business and knowledge sharing happen to the benefit of both the exhibitors and visitors

Vibrant Ceramics brings together all the segments – Wall tiles, Floor tiles, Virtrified tiles, Sanitary wares and bath fittings – providing a platform to the tile manufacturers to do business and also to explore global market leveraging their products’ innovative designs and competitive pricing. Morbi is one of the three big clusters of ceramics industry across the world. It consists of 610 units with latest technologies and equipment imported from around the world. Ninety percent of the total production of ceramic products in India is from Morbi alone.

Morbi Ceramic Associations is dedicated for the welfare of ceramic Industry, the preservation of its traditions of excellence in ceramic products, and the advancement of its stature in the world.

In the last decade, ceramic tile as a product segment has grown to a sizable chunk and today the segment boasts of at approximately 680 Million Square meters production per annum. However, the potential seems to be great, particularly as the housing sector, retail, IT & BPO sectors have been witnessing an unprecedented boom in recent times…

Morbi Ceramics Associations has created a group called “FAF” (Fight Against Fraud) to create awareness about new policies and to secure the ventures of wrong practices.

Morbi Ceramics Cluster, is taking giant strides to be a front runner in the ceramic products and match steps with the industry peers  world-wide.

The last few years have been very exciting, to say the least and has resulted in a highly focused and accelerated growth of the cluster. Looking at any parameters of study, we can very satisfactorily say, that the industry and entrepreneurs of Morbi with their high calculative risk-taking ability and zest to grow fast, have jumped leaps and bounds. The investment to the tune of USD 1200 Million with more than 100 + new manufacturing units coming up in a short span of two years says volumes about the growth of the industry.

The Industry and the associations took the ownership last year to be a beacon of growth for international market and thus decided to take the Ceramic brands of Morbi globally there by initiating the Vibrant Ceramics Expo and Summit. The summit was a huge success and the association was able to reach out to more than 22 countries and attract 610 overseas buyers to be a part of the show, who in turn were extremely satisfied.

This year promises to be bigger and better with VCES 17 targeting 65+ countries globally and reaching out to all major importers, manufacturers, Associations, home goods stores, large institutions, chains of branded stores, technology providers, etc. in an attempt to do so, we plan to forge lot of fruitful and long-term partnerships between the Morbi Ceramics Associations, its members and counterparts overseas.

At Morbi, is produce all kinds of ceramic tiles with a variety of designs and sizes, leading to the production of over 1600 sqmt tiles per annum. We feel pride in stating that the Morbi had made a name for itself amongst the largest ceramic tiles exporters in the world, with the Morbi exporting to countries like USA, Mexico, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Thailand, European countries like Romania etc.

Such is the quality, the strength, the designs of the tiles we produce at the Morbi that its standards meet all the requirements of the international ones, across all countries, and so we are very hopeful and confident to boost our export share exponentially with each and every country in the next few years.
