The Lodha Group, has won with the Green Good DesignTM Award 2012 for its most iconic project World One, the world’s tallest residential tower. The award has been presented to World One for the Green Architecture category, which makes it the only Indian real estate development to win the annual Green Good Design Award, a special off-shoot of Good Design Award, the world’s oldest and most prestigious design prize founded in Chicago in 1950.

World One is being designed by the internationally acclaimed architects Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, based in New York. The 117 storied World One, and World Crest, are collectively known as The World Towers. The uber-luxurious World Towers will be part of Lodha Place, an 18-acre development at Upper Worli Mumbai’s urbane epicenter.

The other Indian design to win the award is the Wadala Planning Area Vision plan (the overall MMRDA development of which New Cuffe Parade by Lodha forms an integral part).
